Greg is originally from southeastern Wisconsin, he began dancing at Accent On Dance studios in Waukesha, WI. From there he continued his training at the MainStage Academy of Dance, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, The School at Jacob’s Pillow, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Cary Ballet Conservatory. Some of his favorite roles include the Pas de trois from Paquita, the Pas de deux from Coppélia, and the Ballet Master from The Konservatoriet. Greg is currently dancing professionally with Indianap- olis Ballet!
Libby Harris Libby began her training in Indianapolis with Linda Rees at Dance Magic Performing Arts Studio. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy on a dance scholarship for four years. While studying dance at Butler University, she was asked to join Dance Kaleidoscope for the 1997 production of Carmina Burana. Libby recently retired from dancing professionally, but is now the rehearsal and educational director for DK. It is her 14th season to be teaching at Premiere!
Kara fell in love with dance the first time she put on tap shoes! She loves being able to share her passion with every student she comes across! Her love of dance is what encouraged her to get her degree from Ball State University in music education! She now has a wonderful group of students that she gets the opportunity to dance and sing with every day! Kara has also been blessed with a very supportive husband and three beautiful children! They thoroughly enjoy being a part of the Premiere family.
Antoine has been teaching for a little over 16 years total – 10 years professionally. Antoine recently became certified as a USASF Member in level 1 -4 in cheer and is excited to share all his knowledge. He taught BoySphere, Strengthening and Conditioning, and Premiere Cheer this season. We are thrilled to have Antoine on staff!
Konner has danced with PDC for all 15 years! She is excited to be on staff this year to share her passion for dance. She trained in Ballet, Tap, Pointe, Hip -Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. During her time as a student at PDC, she traveled to NYC and has taken classes at Broadway Dance Center. She has competed at Regionals and Nationals for many years attaining numerous awards. She is also studying Medical Imaging.
Anne Mei McClain
Anne Mei grew up dancing at PDC. One of my very first students! Anne Mei competed and traveled with the PDC competition team and enjoyed many seasons on the stage! She is thrilled to be teaching at PDC this year. She is currently a student at BSU in the honors college pursuing her degree in speech pathology. Welcome Anne Mei! #sosweet
Jill grew up in Ohio and spent her youth training at Buckeye Gymnastics. Jill was a competitive gymnast for many years and was a member of several state championship teams. Jill also received training from Straub Dance Studio. She studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. Jill spent four years teaching gymnastics and tumbling at Victoria’s Dance and Gymnastics while she attended Ball State studying Elementary Education. Jill taught tumbling at Generations Dance Studio while she lived in Ohio and taught preschool gymnastics at Anderson Gymnastics. She is married to Rob and has five children: Courtney, Andy, Kayla, Sammy, and Lily.
Ian has been dancing since the age of 12 and soon found his home at Premiere Dance Center. Ian graduated from Ball State University in 2014 with a bachelor of science in apparel design. He loves sharing his passion for dance with all the PDC students!
Melanie began her serious ballet and modern training at Walnut Hill Performing Arts High School in Natick, Massachusetts. She went on to graduate from SUNY Purchase with a B.F.A. in dance in 2004. While in New York City she received two summer scholarships from the Cunningham School and studied with many established teachers such as Kazuko Hirabyashi, Richard Cook, Robert Swinston, and Kevin Wynn. In 2004 she became a member of Dance Kaleidoscope, where she danced professionally for eight years. We welcome Melanie to the PDC staff!
Jama started dancing at the age of five.
Emily started dancing at the age of three for Gay Kroening. Emily’s repertoire includes tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and pointe. Emily was one of the original members of the PDC Dance Company and one of Michelle’s first students 17 years ago. Emily is a graduate of BSU and is a teacher at Royerton Elementary.
Amy spent her youth training at Anderson Young Ballet Theatre in Anderson, IN. She studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, and Pointe. Miss Amy recently finished her last and final season as the head coach for the Ball State University Code Red dance team after 10 years! She teaches second grade in Anderson and also enjoys doing choreography for show choirs in the area. She stays busy attending activities for her 3 children. Miss Amy has been on staff for 13 years!
Maranda is a Muncie native and grew up dancing at PDC. She received a Bachelor of Science in dance from BSU. While at Ball State, Maranda was a part of Ball State Dance Theater and had the opportunity to travel to Jacob’s Pillow, New York, Michigan, and New Orleans to dance. Maranda is also a certified Pilates instructor. Maranda is married to Logan and lives in Nashville, TN. She commutes every week to teach at PDC!
Tracy is the Office Manager for Premiere Dance Center. She keeps everything running smoothly for all dancers, teachers and parents. She graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Psychology. She is married to Derek and has four children: Jordan, Zak, Josh, and Abby. Thanks Mama T!
